| Summary, etc | The book covers almost eight decades of governance in Uttar Pradesh in which two national political parties, the Congress and the BJP took the reins, and the rest were regional parties like Janta Dal, SP and BSP which had their own share in the governance. An Effort was, therefore, made to have a comparative look into the governance paradigm of these political outfits and see if there are any marked differences in their approach and priority. Since one had to cover a long period, there is an attempt to provide a broad spectrum on their governance and not going into a detailed individual assessment. It is however, hoped that the book would provide a rational assessment which may interest the concerned circles as well as be of helping further probing the theme. |
